Antico Casale

The Antico Casale is located on the slopes of Monte Vico Alvano (Mount Vico Alvano), half way between Sorrento and Positano. Immersed in the greenery of the Sorrento hills, among the scent of lemons and the marvellous colours of Mediterranean vegetation, our farm holiday centre is located in an old 17th century country house, from which you can enjoy the enchanting view of the gulf of Naples and the entire Sorrento Peninsula. It has been completely restructured and it is furnished in a rustic style, as well as having all comforts.
The Antico Casale was built on three levels. The restaurant is on the ground floor; the  “Ginestra” and “Margherita” rooms are on the first floor as well as a large panoramic terrace with a bar, which you can use to enjoy a drink in the open air; the remaining three rooms are on the second floor (the "Mimosa", "Rosa" and "Camelia" rooms). Lastly, a little stairway gives access to a splendid Solarium in which you can relax in the sun and enjoy a fabulous view of the gulf of Naples.

The company is located in a strategic position which permits you to quickly reach the most famous places to visit on the Amalfi coast and the Sorrento peninsula with your own or public transport. In fact, customers with their own transport have a large private car park at their disposal; other customers can instead ask to use the shuttle service, that goes to the Piano di Sorrento railway station, the historical centre and the port of Sorrento. Lastly, we would like to inform you that there is a SITA bus stop about 100 metres from the country house, with which you can conveniently reach Positano (in only 10 minutes) and the various towns along the Amalfi coast. We would also like to remind you that you can hire cars, mopeds and boats for excursions.

Those of you who instead wish to remain at the Country House can enjoy the tranquillity of nature that surrounds our farm holiday centre, or use the beautiful swimming pool located in the in the old Parco del Principe (the Prince’s Park) complex facing the farm holiday centre: using the swimming pool only costs 9 Euros per person for the whole day, which includes the use of deckchairs.

Lastly, for the benefit of children we would like to inform you that you can visit the farm, which has pigs, calves, rabbits and various kinds of hen.
